| Career path |
He has more than 30 years´ experience in the mobility segment, specifically in the areas of signalling, telecommunications and
supervision and ticketing systems for rail transport networks.
He began his professional career in 1984 at Técnicas Reunidas and after at ENA Telecomunicaciones. He then joined SEL
Signalling in 1991 in the area of project management, and has been Operations Manager since 2000. At Alcatel he also
assumed the position of Domestic Market Manager, which he combined with his project management responsibilities. In his
time at Thales Spain, he has always assumed leadership positions, as Director of Bids and Projects, to reach the general
management of the transport segment in Spain in 2016.
In recent years, Fernando has also led the activity for Turkey, Egypt, and Greece.
