In 1998 Gaspar´s career began as Quality and Environmental Manager, enforcing ISO 9001 on Quality Management and ISO
14001 on Environmental Management standards. (Railtech Sufetra). Despite being CEO and co-founder of Acosta Ingenieros
since 2000, Gaspar Acosta has never ceased his training. Currently he enhances his experience studying a Degree Technical
Architect, Architecture and Building at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (BarcelonaTech). He has performed and directed
more than 1.000 construction projects.
Consultance on slab track systems and fastening, reduction of vibrations and noise and aluminothermic welding.
Member of the CTN 25 Railway applications of UNE Normalización Española.
Member as an expert in the Work Group 17 Fastening Systems, Work Group 16 “Sleepers and bearers” and in the Work
Group 46 Ballastless track of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN).
